HEALTHY businesses needs healthy staff and growing companies need good communications. But how can you grow a business when your marketing is giving you a major headache and your team is unwell?

The therapy team from Park Square based Freedom Clinics has teamed up with Carmel Harrison PR during Leeds Business Week in October to remedy both issues in one after work clinic.

The osteo, physio and massage team from the award winning clinic will provide short consultations and massages on Monday October 17 at their clinic while Carmel Harrison will offer a press release writing seminar to help companies combat the PR blues.

MD of Freedom Clinics, Rod Gillingham hit on the idea while puzzling how to overcome his own marketing issues.

“PR and marketing can cause a lot of our clients a real headache yet it is a business essential and if people are stressed there is often a physical impact,” he said. “We know that a lot of absenteeism is caused by stress that is body related. If we can alleviate some of that through therapy then the whole Leeds business community can be more productive and profitable.

“We wanted to provide something for Leeds Business Week that was relevant yet easy after a hard day at the office or networking. Offering people advice on looking after themselves and a short massage can often relieve a lot of stress and provide an instant lift having a positive impact in work,” he said.

Carmel Harrison said she was delighted to get involved: “We always aim to help our customers develop their own PR skills. A quick Press Release clinic at the end of a busy day is a no brainer especially when people can have a massage too!”
