Freedom Care Clinics Manchester is the latest addition to our portfolio of city centre healthcare clinics. We use osteopaths, senior physiotherapists and chiropractors to effectively diagnose and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.
Osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC); they use a variety of techniques to improve bodily function. A Freedom osteopath can manipulate and articulate joints as well as massage and stretch muscles.
Chiropractors are registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and use precise joint manipulation as well as soft-tissue techniques to correct spinal posture and dysfunction.
Physios are registered with HCPC and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Freedom physios provide full hands-on treatment accompanied with expert rehab exercise planning to accelerate recovery, they also use taping techniques to stabilise joints.
Our Central Manchester Clinic is based at 61 King Street in the established private medical practice Pall Mall Medical. Subsequently, we can provide in-house scans, GP appointments and consultant surgeon consultations within 24 hours. In addition to our core treatments offered, we also provide low level laser therapy, extra corporeal shockwave therapy and sports massage/ sports therapy.

Rod Gillingham – Osteopath
Rod qualified from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine and completed further training in western acupuncture. He has recently attended further training courses in the treatment of post-natal mums and in the management of chronic pain. Rod previously worked as a professional sports therapist and personal trainer; as such he has a keen interest in sports injuries. He has successfully treated a wide variety of patients from international rugby stars to professional dancers, and teenagers with postural issues to senior citizens.
He suggests the most effective way of achieving the best possible results for patients is through a combined approach to patient management, which includes addressing factors relating to posture, exercise, diet and lifestyle in addition to his manual osteopathic treatment.
Rod is also involved in delivering the osteopathy MSc programme at Leeds Metropolitan University. When not working he is a keen (but very average) golfer and he also regularly plays badminton and football.
Daniel Stott – Osteopath
Daniel holds a Masters degree in Osteopathy after graduating from Leeds Beckett University. Since becoming an osteopath Daniel has broadened his repertoire of techniques so that his treatments cater for all patients. He has certified qualifications in: acupuncture (dry needling), kinesio taping (RockTape), cranial osteopathy, shockwave therapy (ESWT) and low level laser therapy (LLLT).
Daniel takes a special interest in treating the shoulder girdle after enduring two long term injuries himself through weight training. He believes that a combination of osteopathic treatment and exercise education is the key to overcoming complex shoulder injuries and has written informative articles on the subject. Daniel has successfully treated many athletes and keen gym goers for dysfunction of the neck, shoulder and rotator cuff as well as other exercise related injuries.
Away from the clinic Daniel likes to keep active. If he isn’t weight training or playing golf he is rock climbing in the Yorkshire Dales or scuba diving in the Caribbean. Daniel has a keen interest in mixed martial arts and boxing, he has treated many competitive fighters.
Trini Ibanez – Senior Physiotherapist
Trini started her career as a physiotherapist in 2006 in Valencia, Spain. She went on to study osteopathy in 2010 and is now qualified in both practices.
Over the last 7 years she has worked in Spain, France and UK in both hospital and private practice.
She has a special interest in complex pain cases and postural correction.
Trini has undertaken further training in visceral and kinesio-taping. She’s committed to continuing her professional development by attending courses to ensure using the most up to date techniques.
In her spare time she likes reading and going to the theatre and the cinema. She also likes traveling, visiting new places and meeting new people.
Amn Sahota – Chiropractor
Amn Sahota graduated from the Anglo-European college of chiropractic with a masters degree in chiropractic. Amn began her career as a chiropractor in 2007.
Amn is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).
Amn is qualified in myofascial dry needling, which is a medical form of acupuncture. She is also a qualified CCEP chiropractor (certified chiropractic extremity practitioner).
With a wide range of treatment techniques from which to choose, Amn enjoys ensuring that her patients benefit from a comprehensive, integrated approach to health and wellbeing. In particular, she combines spinal manipulative therapy with soft tissue techniques, Home exercise programmes and lifestyle advice.
Katka Beranová – Physiotherapist
Katka is a physiotherapist who is trained in musculaskeletal physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy and her specialty is visceral physiotherapy (working mostly with digestive tract). Visceral physiotherapy can help you especially with gastroesophageal reflux, digesting, stomach pains, back pain and with menstrual pain in females.
Katka gained her master‘s degree in physiotherapy from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Her degree was focused on visceral physiotherapy for patients with gastroesophageal reflux. She spent part of her studies in USA, where she worked with professional university football team, so she is experienced in treatment of acute and chronic sports injuries.
Michal Bukartyk – Physiotherapist
Michal is a fully qualified Physiotherapist from Poland. He completed his MSc degree in 2012 and since 2017 he continues further educations in Academy of Osteopathy in Poland. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
Michal is passionate about treating the patient based on a holistic approach and enjoys educating patients in understanding the important cause of their aches and discomforts. He participates in CPD courses in Barral and Upledger Institute, his main interests are Visceral and Neurovascular Manipulations, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Fascial Techniques.
Michal is totally devoted to his profession due to injuries and back problems in the past that took him a long time to recover. Those experience contributed him to become a therapist that aims to solve the patient’s complaints by finding and treating the primary problem within the body.
In his free times he enjoys activities like cycling or running as well as a good movie or book.
